[ oh man where do i start with you.

the very first time john talked to dave was around the time he was dealing with danger, and he’s always found that pretty awesome and kind of creepy at the same time. and after that, he always felt like there was a huge gap between them, because john was so young and dave was way older than him, so it sort of fell into a weird wow you are really cool vs uh, i think i am just going to leave you be!! deal.

but then john started reblogging sky pictures that had the sea included, and dave started reblogging them from him, and it feels like that was the moment they finally had ~*a connection*~, even if it was as miniscule as having their photoblog interests collide. that pretty much led to john blogging sea-sky pictures for him until he ended up tagging them with a specific tag too HEH. but even then he couldn’t really tell what dave thought of that, because he already had his own timeline john and another john who pestered him often, so he sometimes felt like he was intruding?

so he just kept his distance, but still admired and liked him from afar!! he was still his best bro, despite the timeline differences.

but recently, thanks to other people disappearing, dave was, for a while, one of the very few familiar faces john had left, so even though he didn’t talk to him often, just seeing him up and about at fuck o’ clock in the morning, blogging awesome music and sea pictures sort of relieved john in a way too? ‘cause he was a stable presence (WHICH IS FUNNY ‘cause this was like, around the same time dave was slowly going stir-crazy ahahaha).

he’s really glad he’s back though.

and he’s hoping to have a better chance to get to know him! ]
